My Sister, My Angel

Sis, to me you are an angel in disguise
Full of intuition, intelligent, and wise
Always giving and helping in good times and bad

You are the greatest friend I know I’d ever had
If I had one wish there’s no doubt it would be
To give you so much more as you have given to me

Though at times our relationship went through cloudy days
You have been my sunshine in so many ways
Through trials and tests, right beside me you stood
lovingly offering me your hand whenever you could

Thank you so much my beautiful sister for being my friend
My gratitude for you does not know any end

Thank you for being part of my foundation, my life

Thank you for letting me be me, even in times of strife

I love you, sis, more than you will ever know

It’s this love between us that makes it hard to let go

But if it’s God’s will to keep you by His side

Then by His decision, we must abide
