Your 8th year in Heaven my dear Elsa!  Hard to believe how quickly time went by while at the same time, how everything seem to stop as well.  You changed my life for the better and for worst.  For the better - when our lives were joined 36 years ago and our hearts became one as we faced the world, side by side!  For the worst - when this same heart was broken when you were called Home, left me with a crumbled life, yet somehow allowed to live on and continue the journey.  Life does not offer any explanation, promises, nor reason but I’m thankful for the past that was given and a purpose to look forward to what lies ahead.  For each uncharted step I take, trace me a path that I must follow knowing your guiding light will still lead me to a new tomorrow.  I’m always grateful for the love we shared, journey we took, memories we made, and for a life worth living.  Love you and missing you always, especially this time of the year.
